Job Summary:
The Proposal Specialist is a key player in supporting the business development efforts of the investment management firm. This role involves collaborating closely with business development teams, investment teams, and various stakeholders to create high-quality proposal materials that align with the company's growth targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the end-to-end project management of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs), capability documents, and presentation processes, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Maintain an up-to-date and comprehensive understanding of the companys internal systems, teams, products, and processes to effectively inform proposal content.
- Ensure that information databases are accurate, complete, and maintained regularly.
- Manage the review processes for all submissions to uphold quality standards.
- Adhere to JSE compliance requirements and support the Compliance Officer in ensuring compliance with applicable legislation, including Exchange Rules and Directives.
Required Experience:
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably in a technical support role with exposure to RFPs and DDQs.
- A keen interest in financial markets and investments across various asset classes.
- Proven project management and excellent writing skills.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Commerce (Finance, Economics, or a related field).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
